Pi's value comes from actual usage; we need to encourage ecosystem building rather than mere holding.
What mindset do we need for the Pi community to grow successfully?
We need to encourage people to use Pi in everyday life.
For years, many people have said,
"Just mine Pi,"
"Just hold Pi,"
or "Keep it for 10 years or 100 years."
But instead of criticizing or making fun of people who use Pi, trade with Pi, or pay for apps with Pi, we should praise them. They are the people helping to build the real Pi ecosystem.
Pi was designed to be used everywhere—social platforms, games, P2P trading, advertising, and many other use cases.
When all of these things grow naturally, Pi becomes more valuable. As utility grows, more people and investors will start to see that value. That is how prices can gradually & naturally grow over time.
The price will not reach $10,000, $100,000, or $1 million just because you or I only hold Pi and talk about those numbers every day.
Real value comes from real usage.
For years, many Pioneers have been discouraged from using Pi in apps or spending Pi within the ecosystem. I believe this may be one reason why ecosystem growth has been slower than it could have been.
I hope we can move toward a future where people earn money with Pi, create value with Pi, benefit from Pi, and use Pi freely across many different applications and services.
That is the kind of ecosystem that can truly succeed.
For reference, the image below was linked in Pi's original whitepaper when it discussed the growth of the Pi ecosystem.
