🚨 Sharing my experience of managing emergency funds with crypto, helping me reach my goal faster 🎯

When I started studying new finance topics, I heard the advice to have #เงินสำรองฉุกเฉิน at least 3–6 times one's monthly salary.

I have to admit it felt like a huge target 😅 Waiting to save enough before investing would take several years.
.
But I like the idea…
We don't need to wait until we're 100% ready.
.
✅ Gradually build up emergency reserves
✅ Study stocks and crypto simultaneously
✅ Learn investing along the way 📚

At first my emergency fund grew very slowly because my primary income was limited, I could only save a little at a time and often spent it 😅
.
But after entering crypto, especially during an airdrop, supplemental income increased.
.
I recall that in April 2024 I received a Wormhole Airdrop $W 🪂 worth around 100k, and I allocated part of it into my #พอร์ตเงินสำรองฉุกเฉิน 🚨

📍But the key is when opportunities or extra income arise, we need to convert some of the #กำไร into #ความมั่นคง.

Even after my emergency fund reached a satisfactory level, I haven't stopped adding to it because the current economic, financial market, cost-of-living, and many uncertainties feel abnormal.

So I use a monthly DCA approach with Thai baht, gradually buying short- and medium-term bond funds.
.
I'm not expecting rapid growth; I aim to improve #สภาพคล่อง (Liquidity), increase #เงินสดสำรอง (Cash Reserve), and expand my safety cushion.

📌 Lessons from this

1️⃣ เงินสำรองฉุกเฉิน is a life-saving buoy against setbacks.

2️⃣ No need to wait for 100% readiness; you can invest, save, and learn simultaneously.
.
3️⃣ Don't spend all extra income; allocate a portion to build personal financial security.
.
4️⃣ Crypto indeed offers opportunities, but you must turn them into financial safety.
.
5️⃣ Cash isn’t always dull; at times it serves as both armor and ammunition awaiting the right moment.

⚠️ For me, increasing cash reserves and lowering investment risk now isn’t because I’ve lost faith in investing, but because at certain times #การอยู่รอด is as important as #การโตเร็ว.

I've added $6,000 into $W.

There's such a strong technical thesis to make that this is going to turn around in the coming period and that it will start to make strong movements.

Additionally, there's some strong news coming out that the blockchain is providing more and more transactions.

I wanted to see more strength in the markets in order to add more to the trade, and that's what I currently see.

On lower timeframes:
- It's breaking into highs, flipped a lower timeframe for support and continues to aim higher.

I had $10,369 into USDC, and I wanted to deploy more capital, although I wanted to see more proof.

That's what we're seeing here.

I've added $6,000 at $0.0130 for 461538 pieces.

My biggest positions are now:
- $SEI: $25.5K
- $NEAR: $19.5K
- $W: $16K
- $TAO: $12.2K

Ready to be claiming back the portfolio to breakeven and potentially into profits as we're getting into a strong #Altcoin momentum for the Summer!

I'm accumulating more $W as it's currently a relatively strong position in my portfolio.

I might add another $2,000-$3,000 if it starts to print higher lows on the lower timeframes.

Other than that, strong bullish news is occurring from protocols being built on top of $W, which are processing more than a billion in volume through the chain.

Massive bullish divergences on multiple timeframes imply that we're in for a reversal here, and the moment it breaks the 3-Day 21-MA, I'm looking for a potential run of 150-200% on this one.
