My original thesis for investing in $RUNE was for THORChain to be the invisible liquidity layer powering cross-chain swaps That thesis hasn’t changed but the roadmap to get there has. Back then (MCCN days), THORChain had 0 competition Now, if it wants to be the invisible liquidity layer, TC must be competitive in terms of pricing and speed Aggregators are now undeniably the invisible layer underpinning cross-chain trading. The protocols they pull from are a layer beneath and few seem to care what protocol their swap goes through Winning on speed & price execution is the only path to success for any DEX protocol

Switched up my DeFi flow last week after digging into threshold setups that don't leave me sweating seed phrases anymore. Fired up @vultsig on mobile, spun a 2-of-3 vault with my brother and a trusted key took under five minutes, no single point of failure staring back at me. Linked the DeFi tab straight to @THORChain for bonding $RUNE positions, unbonded a test liquidity pool without hopping apps, and set a DCA on the fly. Holding $VULT inside the vault knocked my swap fees down 20% right off the bat, and with those fees routing to buybacks hitting soon, it turns every trade into a quiet accumulator. Tacked on a quick privacy layer by routing a swap through @0xMiden's client-side proving STARK zipped to Ethereum, state stayed local on my phone, zero leaks. Feels like the gap between intent and execution just shrank. Now my edge signals from @EdgenTech feed cleaner into decisions, with $EDGE trickling from the agent while the vault handles the heavy lifting. Just want to be crystal clear here as text is often a horrible way to convey how you truly feel about something: 1. Wishing nothing but success for UL and THORChain's free UI 2. Wishing nothing but success for Kenton and THORChain marketing As a $RUNE holder, I had questions about the approach and was looking to find answers. The questions that I found instead of answers made me increasingly concerned The blog post from Kenton and reply from UL today cleared a lot of these issues for me and I appreciate the time it took to bring that clarity to the forefront As a RUNE holder, I succeed if THORChain and THORChain's UI succeeds. If that happens, I am happy. Kenton is doing a great job here and if you read *all of my replies then hopefully you saw me trying to be supportive but still inquisitive to get to the bottom of things

When you deal with Kenton, expect nothing less than full professionalism Last week, some questions surfaced about the THORChain Free Frontend At the time, it seemed like there were more questions than answers and it was tough to discern what was happening I think Kenton is an incredible force for good in @THORChain. Some of my RUNE is bonded with Kenton and I consider him to be a friend On last Thursday's space, we talked live for over an hour straight about these topics and I felt better after that discussion. Some more questions surfaced afterwards but Kenton said he would resolve them and write a lengthier post with every question answered This is that post and I feel that the concerns are answered At no point throughout this did I no longer want to support Kenton or what he is trying to achieve. I am a believer in asking questions and getting to the bottom of things and I think that as a decentralized community, everyone needs to come together to poke for the best solutions No decentralized community is going to automatically get it right every single time and as @KentonC137 said during that live show: things over text get easily misconstrued. You can't tell the tone of how someone means something when it's all text based That space and this post are enough to make me feel that the TC Frontend is headed in the right direction. Tensions get high and silence leads to FUD. This is why I wanted these things answered publicly and quickly Overall: 10/10 response from Kenton. Thanks for all the hard work! I have no ill will toward Kenton, UL or anyone else involved. I just wanted to see the community's questions answered and I consider this a closed issue. Onwards as always ⚡️

Starts looking like satisfying answers, thank you to @unstoppablebyhs for their efforts 🙂 No decision is perfect, and sometimes when you want to go fast you miss bringing the community and partners along in the chain of thought —a more lengthy and public survey of providers might have helped in this department @KentonC137 but I guess you now know this in hindsight, and hindsight is 20/20. Regardless, what’s done is done, and provided Unstoppable holds on their end, which so far they have, I think this is net positive. Kind reminder to not overreact guys, people that want to help get overwhelmed and can get alienated. Questions are good, accusations are not. Stay positive. I know many of you where active in this process out of love to Thorchain & xchain DEX’s, let’s just try to turn it down a notch and be a little bit more kind and friendly 🙂 we can’t afford disunity. Keep building!
