    This is a very good overview on NEAR and I'm happy yo have contributed to it by @mladenpavla1's invite on Substack (link below) + I've started studying and following NEAR in 2022-2023 + Went in a ~12-24 months hiatus for not liking the direction it was taking + Got my attention back in early 2025 due to inflation halving discussions, near intents growth, and privacy-friendly solutions (including for AI), + I now run a validator (thecoding.pool.near) and actively contribute to the ecosystem. I’m happy to share my learnings with like-minded people and see the engines working in their minds while they connect the dots the same way I did Thanks for the opportunity -- onwards!

    According to Wu, the DeFi protocol RHEA Finance stated that after the events disclosed on April 16 and April 17, it has made some progress in recovering funds, but there is still a gap of about $400,000 (mainly involving NEAR, USDT and USDC), and it promises to fully compensate users for their losses; it is currently cooperating with the NEAR ecosystem, Zcash community and law enforcement agencies to advance investigations and asset recovery; at the protocol level, RHEA DEX was not directly affected and has been restored, the margin trading function on NEAR will be permanently discontinued, and the lending protocol plans to restart in phases in early May 2026. https://t.co/WYAuP3yM6w
