Supposedly it's a scary photo challenge, and I really stared at it for a while... I finally found it, but seeing it at night gives a bit of a chill...

2025 was a turning point year for me.

Outstanding employee, group company paper award, early promotion, etc.
I used to only know the company and work,
but after my child was born I realized the preciousness of family,
and feeling health issues and a burnout from company life,
I took a parental leave.

During the parental leave I tried to live like a full‑time investor,

but as soon as I投入 a seed amount close to a year’s salary,
the Trump tariff bomb instantly shredded my account,
making me think I had to do something.

While caring for my child I worked 2–3 hours each night,
checked Twitter/Telegram all day,
and in a month earned less than 300 000 KRW,

when I discovered a new world called “야핑”.

At first I wrote with a half‑skeptical mind.

I didn’t even know how to do 야핑,
so I think I spent about two weeks glued to phone and computer.

What started as a parental leave for health and childcare
turned into frequent all‑night work and neglected parenting,
so the focus shifted.

My wife, seeing me become unfocused and irritable during our time together,
finally cried and asked me to quit both the airdrop work and 야핑.

After a good rest I posted that I’d take 야핑 slowly,

ironically that post got explosive reaction,
the Yaps blood that hadn’t moved for months got broken,
and thanks to that post I even climbed the leaderboard.

Moreover a few days later I earned about 1 million KRW via MagicNewton.

I still can’t forget the moment of my first 야핑 profit.

After a meetup I opened a Kaito Airdrop alert on the way home,
missed the last bus home but was so excited I walked back,
that memory stays vivid.

Thus I dived into 야핑 seriously.

At that time I heard Anoma was the “Next MagicNewton”
(why Anoma and not Boundless…).

I wrote a post introducing Anoma,
which also got good reaction and, as a small account,
propelled me onto the tough Anoma leaderboard (the trigger that tangled my 야핑 life).

Based on early positioning I could also join the Anoma Secret Syndicate TG group.

Through that I connected with well‑known domestic accounts
and got some follows from large overseas accounts.

July‑September I think I focused on Anoma.
(not only trading but also only picking “dirt picks” in 야핑…)

Fortunately I also handled projects like Bybit / Sonic midway,
and paradoxically earned unexpected profits from short‑term trades in those projects.

While doing Bybit / Sonic 야핑,
I dug into Kaito leaderboard climbing strategies,
and as a small account reached inner‑circle‑level high ranks,
which gave me a bit of exposure.

Then August arrived,
the six‑month parental leave ended and a new phase seemed to begin.
