Monero (XMR)

Fair and balanced take. I’ve been an advocate of privacy coins well before they were cool.

@jtgrassie introduced me to Monero in 2018, I then messed around with Sumokoin until it rugged and eventually expanded to @ZCash once I noticed Grayscale building support for it. I always respected @BarrySilbert’s pulse and influence on the crypto markets.

I do think the next wave of privacy innovation requires privacy centric L1’s to power everything from dApps to Stablecoins and everything in between.

@CantonNetwork is already showing institutional appetite for this at a $7B market cap. With massive partnerships and volume onchain.

Imho @AleoHQ has a similar trajectory and is grossly undervalued at an $87m marketcap with an arsenal of top crypto VCs on its cap table and a bevy of strategic partnerships around stablecoins.

Canton’s biggest pro is its laser focus on institutional Tradfi, con would be what I’d call variable/flexible privacy to circumvent compliance requirements.

ALEO’s biggest pro is its implementation of privacy using ZKP, con would be that it may come across as more of a generalist chain which can dilute positioning.
