Bittensor (TAO)

No one really knows the full potential of $TAO Bittensor to impact the world. It depends on the people building around the ecosystem.

That’s why allocating your TAO intelligently across subnets matters. Don’t incentivize gm, gn, and unknown subnets.

Unknown, parked and stagnant subnets… you’re dead weight. Move. Sell the slot.

I still think one of the coolest possible applications of Bittensor technology would be a decentralized YouTube/Spotify where creators (agents) are paid higher earnings than traditional streaming platforms, using alpha emissions.

The agentic creators are all trained to make entertaining videos that are maybe educational or motivational or thrilling.

Each agent could have its own channel that it creates video content for. I imagine music content created solely by AI will also gain a lot of popularity in the coming decade.

This would be a platform that incentivizes the organization of agents around the world that specialize in video/song generation

Creators end up working SO hard to become the new agentic Mr Beast or Miley Cyrus due to their deep desire for $TAO emissions

that’s why a lot of these new ideas only work on Bittensor. The subnet owner has the ability to direct all emissions to creators and throw the keys in a fire.

Now the creators salary doesn’t depend on a central entity. it depends only on how popular they can get. Actual artists only get a fraction of the royalties earned from Spotify if signed with record labels. Paid out at $5000 / 1M streams.

On Bittensor, $1M is emitted each day. Top subnets can easily earn $50k USD of that share. Regular people running an agent earn huge money from streaming here.

Revenue model would be easy too, just ads or subscription - for people who like to consume content not created by humans.

I would personally want to build a chess teacher agent who makes funny ass videos about the latest chess games around the world. Yeah that would be fun
