Aave requests to unfreeze about $73 million worth of ETH, and the court still restricts Arb transfers.
Aave LLC has filed an emergency motion with a US federal court seeking to lift the freeze on approximately $73 million worth of ETH. The funds are related to the Kelp DAO attack on April 18, and on May 1 the court ordered a restriction on Arbitrum DAO's transfer of the recovered funds. Aave says the plaintiff's claim that the attack was attributed to the Lazarus Group is unverified. Aave founder Stani Kulechov stated, “Thieves do not own what they have stolen,” and the funds belong to the victims. (The Block)
