RUNE network recovery has entered the final stage, expected to restart all functions within several hours to several days
According to Wu, THORChain officially released an event update stating that network recovery has entered the final stage. Currently, the KeyVerify protocol is being used to verify the integrity of each node's key shards to confirm the safety of each vault. After verification passes, the Churn step will be initiated, migrating all funds to a new vault, expected to take several hours to several days. Once Churn is completed, the network will gradually restore Secured and Trade assets, LP operations, and the final trading functions. Previously, THORChain was attacked on May 15, and the officials said a malicious node newly joining the network exploited a GG20 TSS implementation vulnerability, resulting in about $10.7 million being stolen from a single vault.
