I've partially sold a position in the #Altcoin Portfolio
I'm excited, the markets are gaining momentum.
It's about time to be getting those returns in.
This is also the time to be actively managing the portfolio, as there's a lot of things that we can do with it.
A short update, and I'll be making more updates in the coming week.
The portfolio standings:
- $160,000 invested.
- Current status: $78,000.
It was down 75% on it's lowest point, it's down 50% currently. That's way better.
I'll be adding for four months more ($40,000) and that's where I'll stop adding funds.
The reason for that is relatively simple: I do expect the markets to be bottoming out (and most likely have been bottoming out already).
I don't want to add more funds, I'm actually looking to maximize the ROI on this portfolio and build a more robust portfolio later on.
The add-ons will be on June 1st, July 1st, August 1st, September 1st.
I've sold a portion of one of my positions.
I'm not selling based on the fact that I don't believe in the fundamentals anymore.
No, this is the period where you see breakouts happen left and right, but this also means that we should be looking at altcoins that are likely to follow through to compound the returns.
- Take risk off the table with position one.
- Compound those returns through position two.
That's why I've done the following trade:
- Sold $1,000 in $REZ at $0.0071 (140845 pieces).
- Bought $2,000 in $W at $0.0159 (125786 pieces).
- I've added another $1,000 into $W.
The prime reason for the sell in REZ is:
- It did a 2.5x from the low.
- Sigma (or std. dev) from the MA's on the 1D/3D are slightly overextended, which means that I do want to take some of the tables.
This can be used to be adding in lower again, or when I see an opportunity in another asset, I'd like to allocate it there.
I haven't changed fundamentally in my thesis on $REZ, far from it, however, technical and fundamental beliefs can differ in terms of asset holding (similarly with the fact that I do think that your allocation in $BTC should go down and up over time).
Let me know through a comment/like whether I should be making a new YouTube update this week!
