EOS X Insight
Exploring design principles of the crypto ecosystem; EOS could serve as a case study.
GM CT. I’m currently developing a thesis on ecosystem growth and how ecosystems can be designed as productive economic systems rather than a collection of disconnected marketing campaigns, grants and community initiatives.
I’m particularly interested in conversations with ecosystem leads, foundation teams, operators, builders and researchers working across distribution, community, creators, capital and user growth. If this is something you’re actively thinking about, feel free to send me a DM. I’m looking forward to exchanging ideas, testing the thesis against real-world experience and learning from others working on similar problems.

Staying committed to long‑term building during a bear market, projects like EOS will eventually benefit.
Surviving a bear market is probably one of the hardest parts of being a founder. Especially when the timing doesn't seem right.
Back in 2018, we started building in the RWA space, long before it became a trend.
At QuillHash, we built Tokenic and dNFTs, an open standard for fractional ownership on EOS.
We helped Zeptagram tokenize music rights.
We also worked with Fraction0x to tokenize real estate.
The technology worked.
The market didn't.
Looking back, it would've been easy to stop building and wait for "better timing."
But according to me, markets change much faster than builders do.
If you stop building every time the market slows down, you'll never be around when the market finally catches up.
Here are a few lessons I learned from surviving multiple market cycles:
1. Build with a long-term vision.
What I feel is that founders who survive bear markets aren't the ones chasing short-term narratives.
They're the ones building with a longterm vision, regardless of where the market is today.
If your conviction changes every cycle, it's difficult to build something that lasts.
2. Don't try to trade your way out of a bear market.
I've seen many founders spend more time chasing the next narrative than improving their product.
According to me, building sustainable revenue is a much better strategy than hoping the market saves you.
3. Keep talking to customers.
Bear markets remove a lot of noise.
They're probably the best time to understand what customers actually need instead of what the market is excited about.
The feedback you collect during a bear market often becomes your biggest advantage later.
4. Build lean.
Every hiring decision, every tool, and every expense should have a purpose.
I've learned that constraints force better decisions.
You become much more focused on what actually moves the business forward.
5. Survival comes before growth.
One thing I've learned is that surviving a bear market isn't about growing at all costs.
It's about managing your runway, staying disciplined with cash, and making sure your company is around to capture the next opportunity.
You can't win the next cycle if you don't survive this one.
What I feel is that surviving a bear market is tough, but quitting is even tougher.
Especially in Web3, where uncertainty is something every founder has to live with.
Staying resilient and continuing to build during these times is what makes all the difference.
