TON holders have voted 81.22% in favor of renaming Toncoin (TON) to Gram (GRAM), with the change set to take effect on June 15.
The update only changes the token's name and ticker. User balances, wallet addresses, smart contracts, and DeFi positions will remain unchanged. No token swap or migration is required, and any platform asking users to exchange TON for GRAM should be treated as a scam.
The blockchain will continue to be called The Open Network (TON), while wallets, exchanges, and ecosystem projects are expected to complete the rebranding by June 22.
