i came into memes during the generation of pepe, mog, and wif. coins that dominated the timeline and grew at each level for months. they cemented themselves in the mt rushmore of crypto.

of course, price follows that and diamond hand holders were rewarded for their stubbornness, alongside boasting reputations that have lasted for years. many, retired off one trade.

when you zoom out of the charts, into the daily time frame it's easy to see what they did in hindsight, but not every day holding was easy.

we would have to stomach insane fluctuations, be up 2 houses one day, down 1 house the next, then another down 2 tomorrow. it was a rollercoaster, but after a few days/weeks, our minds became numb.

this is what i called "breaking your brain" which in that era was a necessary cost. in that moment, i knew i would have to take at least a year to heal haha, but it definitely paid off. made me see numbers as a video game and be able to switch to real life reality when it was time.
