hot take: it rarely pays to be a long term holder in crypto

you almost always end up getting dumped on and it's such a shame

that's why I genuinely like what @Oly_Dao is building

their model is completely different, the protocol is designed to protect the people who hold and stake, not reward the ones who dump on everyone else

most of what they earn flows right back to OLY stakers. best thing is it's all paid out in blue chip assets (ETH, WBTC, stables, etc) and not via token emissions

if you're down 80% on your cashcat bag cause you held while everyone dumped on you, this is exactly the scenario oly is built to protect against

they're launching on aug 28th, imho it's worth to keep an eye on them
