$HEX now sits at a little over 9 million holders, so we sat down and re-ran the data from our previous post to find out what airdrop recipients have been doing post-airdrop.

✍️ 8,412,041 addresses airdropped
✍️ 69,636 addresses interacted (transfer/buy/sell)
✍️ 428 addresses sold
✍️ 187 made purchases

For wallets that made buys, when we filter out existing Hexicans, the numbers look like:
✍️ 157 wallets made purchases
✍️ Total purchased: 7,640,886 $HEX ($5.2k)
✍️ Average purchase: 48,688 $HEX ($33)

Since we last ran the numbers a week ago, there are 33 new wallets that have purchased, and the total amount of $HEX purchased by new Hexicans has doubled (from 3.8m to 7.6m). The average buy has also gone up >50%.

Slowly and steadily new wallets are starting to appear in the ecosystem. We're still in the depths of the crypto doldrums, with DeFi activity on Ethereum at real lows, so it's promising to see some slow and steady uptake despite this.
