Stacks (STX) might be interesting. It gave me one of the easiest 8X of this cycle. This cycle has surpassed the 2022 ATH, which is not a small thing in this market. Applications and smart contract layer on the Bitcoin network… Honestly why not? 🤷‍♂️ If the project survives and continues development, the next cycle could be very interesting to watch

# Post Mortem: Blocked PoX Stacking Extension for Cycle 129 Every PoX cycle, we extend stacking commitments for Stacking DAO signers. Extension transactions landed at Bitcoin block 936,882 ([example tx](https://t.co/PJTtub45UL)). The transactions succeeded onchain. Extensions went through locks were confirmed, and the commitments took effect, just not until cycle 130. Apparently, stacking is blocked during the 100 blocks before the start of a next cycle (the prepare phase). Every Stacks Labs UI or dev tool shows the prepare phase as part of the ending cycle and hence a valid window for stacking extensions. None of them indicate that stacking is not possible during the prepare phase. As a result, ~100M STX across our LSTs and the native pool is not stacked for cycle 129 and will not earn yield. ## What does this mean for you? To keep LSTs stable, reward payouts will be reduced to 50% for this cycle and next cycle's payout. Native stacking will resume paying full yield next cycle. Stacking resumes n
