$ZEC price is in a Downtrend, trading in a Channel Down pattern. We wait for a break out of the Channel Down pattern, above $300 resistance and 200 SMA to signal bullish trend reversal. That's a stiff resistance zone. In the meantime, price is approaching $200 level where it's found support a few times in the recent weeks. It it breaks below that, it could resume a Downtrend and revisit $125.

Zcash node software recently fixed a critical security vulnerability. The flaw existed in the deprecated but still funded Sprout privacy pool, theoretically exploitable by malicious miners to steal about 25k ZEC, roughly $6.5 million at current prices. The development team has released version v6.12.0 with the fix, and major mining pools completed the upgrade within three days. $ZEC Attempting once again to push higher off critical support, but it is still being suppressed by descending supply. The current move into the $250 region is strong in the sense that buyers are defending the floor and forcing a reaction higher. But the bigger issue is that every rally is still running into a falling line of supply from above. That means this is not clean upwards movement yet. It is an attempt to break higher while still trading beneath the structure that has been capping every bounce. The 365D average has now also risen into the same support zone underneath. So if price gets rejected here and loses that floor, the level becomes even more important. For now, the priority is that the $200 critical support must hold.
