Revenue Yield tells you how cheap a protocol is relative to what it earns. but yield without growth is just a value trap. so I looked at Q1 revenue growth alongside yield for the protocols on this list. ➛ pumpfun: 25.4% yield. revenue down 21.7% in Q1. ➛ Limitless: 19.6% yield. revenue up 163% in Q1 ➛ Aster: 2.2% yield. revenue down 73.5% in Q1. ➛ Hyperliquid: 1.5% yield. revenue down 9.7% in Q1. ➛ Uniswap: 1.0% yield. revenue up 109% in Q1. growth is there, yield isn't. high yield. accelerating growth. still early. the market hasn't caught up yet.

New theory: different cohorts of crypto customers are driving very different results. Cohort 1: $COIN $HOOD $GEMI $PUMP $SOL $UNI $AAVE are basically "retail only" crypto plays, and retail is dead right now. You can see it in the charts of their tokens/stocks which are mostly down only. Cohort 2: Those companies that cater more to the "professional traders" are fairing much better... this includes $GLXY $HYPE $ONDO $SKY and soon to be Kraken when they go public (Kraken private shares are up YTD too). Worth noting that ONDO is in the "good company, bad token" camp, as its token does nothing and captures no value from Ondo's success, which is why it has underperformed. $SYRUP probably in this camp too. Cohort 3: Those companies that cater to real institutions -- banks, brokerages, Fintechs, etc. This includes canton-network:native (and soon to be Tempo and Arc after big private raises). It probably includes $CRCL $BTGO $CEPT (once the biz combination event is complete). Maybe even $MORPHO. This has been more of a mixed bag as no one really knows who will ultimately benefit from this institutionalization. It might end up being $WU or $JPM or $BLK or $PYPL or a variety of other companies who benefit the most. Hard to tell. All we really know is that retail crypto is dead, and there is a changing of the guard happening.

you can feel however you want about @Pumpfun , but they’re still pushing around $1B in weekly volume meme coin gambling basically turned into its own mini-market and $PUMP owns most of that flow with the full stack: • launchpad • DEX • trading app • social layer I keep seeing meme coin streams on YouTube and X too they have their own scene now, their own stars, influencers, slang and culture interesting case overall added it to my watchlist - users are there, volume is there, buybacks are there haven’t added it to the portfolio yet
