    The same reasoning that made me fade Gas and Ralph made me fade Lobstar at very low valuations. I tend to evaluate coins from a tech lens; if the tech sucks, I lose interest. However, the aforementioned coins, and many others, run primarily off dev pedigree. At the end of the day, these are tech meme coins. People buy them when there’s a figurehead they can “believe” in to lead the way. Gonna be better about it going forward, can’t force the market to care about tech. Will simply buy the SAM ALTMAN IS DEV tokens in the future (if they’re cheap enough)

    Roundtripped around 100 sol (7700% instead of 2557%), entered at 132k mcap. I was thinking it might be the new AI meta but Yegge just straight up rugged everyone instead. Lesson to be learnt here is to be taking more profits when things are going too euphoric especially in the current market. Cheers to another month of cooking in @PastelAlpha though, thanks to pastel members @0xrhoddy and @tontheneko for this cook specifically.

The community joins at will, speeches are said at will, announcements are pinned at will, history is deleted at will. Personas can switch anytime, one moment they're a senior builder, the next they're posing as a web3 rookie, saying they just entered the space, the wallet is still custodial, need a new address.     This is really a bit awkward… At first everyone thought Gas Town was awesome, the next Goat/Ai16z, then the Founder came out saying he wants to focus on building and development, won’t have much time to tweet on X and chat, after hearing that people immediately poured criticism on it. Indeed it’s somewhat ironic, everyone wants a Builder to Build, and when the person really can’t build interaction they get flooded again, so essentially $GAS is being treated as a meme rather than an AI product. So the question arises – this round of AI tokens on Solana, are they fundamentally different from last year’s Goat, Fartcoin, ai16Z, etc.? Or are they still attention‑economy/meme cloaked in a technocratic skin? 🤔
