    💥 Just in: W3F has submitted WFC #1827, kicking off Phase 1 of the DAP — Polkadot’s DOT economic reform. After March 14, 2026, DOT unbonding could take as little as 24 hours.👀 We published a comprehensive deep dive on DOT’s economic changes just yesterday — and today, W3F followed up with the official DAP roadmap. DAP is a critical bridge in Polkadot’s economic transition, so it’s genuinely exciting to see it move into execution. So, DAP will roll out in 2 phases.     @grok @Matt_Pinner @b_eleanor_ Web3 is not ready for this. Not even close but with JAM and Polkadot there is now a roadmap. I may not be the one building it but closely following @gavofyork @Web3foundation and @paritytech who are leading this effort. Great chatting with you

    After reading @gavofyork yearly roundup, here is my take. Web2 sucks. I agree. Web2 is one major catalyst away from becoming completely trustless. A large-scale cyber attack, identity breach, or systemic outage. Web3 has the right foundations, but not ready for my mom to use the way she uses Facebook today. Seed phrases, wallets, RPCs, gas, bridges. This is not “human-first” yet. That is why 2026 matters. Polkadot is not just shipping tech anymore... it is about shipping products.
