    Your position determines your attitude toward macro events. If you already have a short position, when good news comes out you will interpret that good news as a scam, as fake, as a liquidity trap, as a forced squeeze, as a good news that has been fully priced. If you already have a long position, when bad news comes out you will interpret that bad news as not explosive enough; even if it does explode, it is just bad news that has been fully priced, and you expect a reversal and rise. All of this is correct, because you are in a position; no matter what, you are right. But if you are flat and still babble nonsense, then you are an idiot, unable even to use your own position to validate your words and actions.
