Smart traders on Boros know the rollover is coming, and won't be shorting oil funding rates this week. As such, TWAPing in longs in anticipation of the negative rates to end = uncrowded trade with few counterparties

🔹Lower your Implied APR entry when rates revert = more funding received
While you might have a couple of days paying out negative funding as the contracts rollover, that's the price (pun intended) of getting such low Implied APR entries across the board. When funding rates revert, you reap the benefit of entering these markets at their lows.
