We have been covering RWAs for a long long time.
Some RWA projects have gone on to do amazing stuff while some just were sidelined.
@Mantle_Official is part of the former group.
Mantle's H1 is the first stretch where the story reads like infrastructure instead of a pitch. Here's what actually shipped.
> By June, 155 tokenized stocks traded on Mantle. Around the clock.
The number matters less than what sits inside it. The interesting part isn't just the number of listings. It's that these assets trade 24/7, making them accessible well beyond traditional US market hours
> SpaceX went onchain the day it listed. Not a wrapper someone bolted on weeks later. The same day. When the tokenized version arrives that fast, it stops being an afterthought to the "real" market and starts being part of it.
That kind of launch speed isn't trivial, especially considering how many platforms struggled to offer similar access 🤷♂️
> Then Franklin Templeton's US Equity Index ETF landed too. A roughly $2B fund tracking the top 85% of the US equity market, exposure to names like Nvidia and Microsoft, now a single token you can trade any hour of any day. And this is huge for people who do not have easy access to US-listed ETFs.
But tokenizing assets is only half the story.
The real question is how they're actually traded.
Mantle built it in phases. Ten stocks first. Then Atomic RFQ, where trades mint and redeem straight from the issuer at live quotes. No slippage. No partial fills. That's the boring plumbing institutions ask for before they touch anything, and it's the difference between a demo and a market.
And it's not just sitting there. Around $90M is already put to work across RWA DeFi on Mantle.
None of this makes tokenized equities a solved problem. Liquidity is still young. Regulation is still moving. Plenty has to keep working for this to matter at scale.
But the direction is hard to miss. H2's plan is more assets onchain, more ways to put that capital to work, and more institutions stepping in (from their latest update article)
It feels increasingly clear that RWAs are moving beyond experimentation. The more interesting question now is which ecosystems become the foundation for that growth: That ties directly back to Mantle.
Not financial advice. Just watching the rails get built.
