Zcash Network Effects Zcash has network effects that directly impact your level of privacy in the network As more coins are shielded, they are effectively all pooled together in the protocol. This makes it increasingly difficult to track user balances and TXs You can track the growing size of the Orchard pool to measure this. 2. Global Factors As the world continues to shift toward digital money (first with credit cards and now with blockchain-based solutions like stablecoins), your privacy actually becomes harder to maintain Zcash is privacy native and this will become increasingly important depending on where you live in the world. In some places, you need it now. In others, it’s only a matter of time 3. Lindy Effect ZEC isn’t a newer network and it has survived the ups \u0026 downs of the worst crypto market environments. The longer the network properly provides privacy, the stronger the Lindy Effect. ZEC isn’t BTC but there are many similarities. If you believe BTC is digital gold (as I do), then believing ZEC is digital cash (private, seamless money you can rely on “under your mattress”) isn’t a big leap Glad to see great people like Tim asking these questions! You always have to look at both sides of the equation as you must have a plan for either! The cautious take on #ZEC right now is that the structure is still leaning bullish, but it is sitting close to levels that need to hold. As long as support continues to build above the recent higher low zones the trend can continue, but if price starts slipping back into the broader wedge pattern the momentum may cool off. I am watching how buyers react on each pullback since it tells us whether demand is increasing or fading. Patience is key here, the chart still has potential, but confirmation matters more than prediction.

Let's dive deeper into this chart I recently posted on! Macro structure on #ZEC is telling a very clear story. The zone that once acted as major resistance during the 2021 and 2022 highs is now functioning as support on the weekly chart. When a previous supply zone flips into demand on a higher timeframe, it usually signals the start of a larger structural shift. This is the kind of behavior I look for when trying to determine whether a move has real longevity. Anyone can chase price on the lower timeframes, but watching how a market reacts when it revisits macro resistance levels gives you a much clearer picture of the bigger trend. The fact that Zcash reclaimed this zone with strength, then held it on the retest, reinforces why I’m treating this entire move as a potential trend change rather than a temporary spike. If ZEC continues to respect this area, the upside implications over the longer term become far more compelling.

This all makes me bearish on $ZEC Simply because the Zcash brand is being kept hostage by an institution that is proving itself untrustworthy while dealing with such a serious matter (going after small independent projects that cost money and people's time) This Zcash trademark is a legal capture that harms decentralization So, yes, I'm starting to agree with the comment below The Zcash Foundation shouldn't be the one holding the rights for this trademark (if anyone even should, for defensive purposes; I'm not even sure about that, but anyway) Unless the Foundation changes its behavior, takes accountability for its actions, and provides a clear roadmap for improvements They need to break the silence, and they need to do it now
