These past few days, the @worldlibertyfi project led by the Trump family, leveraging the inaugural Mar-a-Lago summit, has made a huge splash, and $WLFI accordingly moved against the trend with a >20% intraday gain. So, cutting through the surface noise, what can we interpret from the information disclosed at the summit? 1) At this summit, WLFI announced a partnership with @Securitize and @dar_global to tokenize the “loan revenue rights” of the Trump Hotel in the Maldives. Note that this is not a direct tokenization of the physical property as an RWA, but rather encapsulates the income‑generating yield of the underlying loan assets. This approach effectively avoids the cumbersome physical delivery and cross‑border property rights confirmation issues, while still bringing the cash flow of TradFi business on the chain as a source of yield. This is no different from the previous logic of WLFI’s collaboration with Aave; the focus is not to recreate assets on‑chain, but to provide on‑chain capital seeking stable returns with real‑world business anchors. In other words, WLFI aims to become a decentralized ABS (asset‑backed securities) distribution channel based on real‑estate finance; 2) At the summit, WLFI announced a partnership with Apex Group, which manages $3.5 trillion in assets, to pilot USD1 stablecoin as the underlying settlement asset for tokenized funds. This is essentially looking for the largest use case for the USD1 stablecoin to tap into traditional finance clearing networks. Previously, I wrote an article analyzing that, as a latecomer, USD1 has lost many crypto‑pair trading scenes on exchanges, but precisely because of this, it directly targets the cross‑border settlement and compliant clearing layer of traditional finance. Although currently constrained by regulatory compliance, in the long term, if it becomes a middle‑media linking TradFi and crypto, its market incremental size could surpass any existing stablecoin provider. @EricTrump even said on site that the industry has reached the “one‑yard line” stage, hinting that large‑scale compliance breakthroughs are just around the corner. Think about it: removing compliance barriers and simply leveraging the efficiency and low‑cost nature of stablecoins for cross‑border business essentially means competing with traditional SWIFT and banking services for the same pie – and the pie could be huge. That’s all. The Mar‑a‑Lago summit managed to bring together the CEO of Goldman Sachs, the CEO of Coinbase, Nasdaq executives, etc. To say that this cross‑industry resource consolidation capability wasn’t using the Trump family’s political card would be unbelievable. Perhaps because of this, the convergence of top‑level commercial resources also demonstrated WLFI’s determination to bridge TradFi and DeFi.

I think crypto has officially been taken over.
