The crypto market is experiencing one of its unprecedented depression periods.

The market capitalization of centralized exchange tokens has declined from a record $182B in October 2025 to $105B.

Since the beginning of 2026, the sector has lost 31%, reflecting weaker demand for CEX tokens amid a slow crypto market and declining trading activity.
