$MOVE, the airdrop looks great, but is the project actually good? In mid-2024, @movementlabsxyz launched a testnet program for the community, and by November 2024 the project conducted a Snapshot and the TGE shortly thereafter. Most participants who fully completed the project received a few thousand dollars in airdrop; $MOVE price peaked at $1.4 shortly after, but now has fallen to $0.4, a gain of only 35×. A closer look at the project's fundamentals shows that TVL was 70M in August 2025, surged to 290M in October, and is currently at 205M. However, the system's revenue over the past 24 hours was only $2, a very modest figure. Even though a generous airdrop was given to the community, the price remains severely diluted with no signs of recovery, indicating the community is only interested in the airdrop and not truly engaged with the project's ecosystem. Projects are also beginning to realize that the airdrop community only takes money from them without bringing capital in, so projects are starting to penalize users in various ways. Wu says, according to monitoring by @EmberCN, Movement has once again transferred 50 million MOVE that were previously repurchased (approximately $2.51 million) to Binance. Previously, due to the $38 million buyback request in March, Movement withdrew a total of 180 million MOVE from Binance to a public buyback address, with an average buyback price of about $0.21. After the buyback was completed, the team gradually transferred the tokens back to Binance. Six hours ago, Movement transferred 50 million previously repurchased $MOVE ($2.51 million) back to Binance. In March, Movement was required to conduct a $38 million token repurchase, and subsequently they withdrew a total of 180 million MOVE from Binance to the public address on the repurchase chain. This means the average repurchase price was $0.21. However, after completing the repurchase, they have gradually transferred MOVE back to Binance again.
