    I've been listening to a podcast lately, and one point from the first episode really stuck with me. As someone who invests in crypto, listening to Nasdaq earnings calls is honestly depressing. Nasdaq • Micron Q3 : $41B revenue, 80% operating margin. Crypto • SEI: $100M raised, $4 daily revenue, operating at a loss Of course, not every crypto project is like this. But today's crypto market has created a structure where projects don't necessarily need to make money. They just need to issue a token. Since the rise of AMMs, projects can launch a token and create liquidity without first building a sustainable business. • No product. • No meaningful revenue. • No profitable business model. Yet the token can still have value. As a result, managing the token often becomes a bigger business than building the product itself...

Before the data, here is what finality actually means. When you execute a trade on-chain, your transaction is not truly settled the moment it appears confirmed. Finality is the point where that transaction becomes mathematically irreversible, where no validator or network condition, and no edge case can roll it back. Block time and finality are two completely different things, and most people confuse them. Solana's block time is 405ms, but its actual finality sits at 12.8 seconds. That gap matters enormously for traders running any kind of time-sensitive strategy.
