Lots of key developments on @monad lately. - @aave deployed with markets for 12 assets - @MetaMask launched its neobank-like app "MetaMask Money" exclusively on Monad - @maplefinance's syrupUSD released with markets on AAVE - Flagship trading venue @perpltrade is now live in public beta - @pendle_fi launched too MON is still trading below ICO price, currently at $260M market cap. I expect some relief here.

Ansem gets it, it's no question the recent TVL expansion on @monad is worth paying attention to. Not solely because "numba go up", but because of how capital is starting to form around the ecosystem. We're starting to see the early pieces line up where capital is becoming more productive on the purple chain, which also apply in a symbiotic way to @Curvance as well: - deeper stablecoin liquidity - more lending market depth - more collateral types coming online - yield assets becoming usable as borrowable/collateralized positions - protocols beginning to compose with each other instead of operating in isolation These matter because DeFi growth is reflexive. More liquidity improves execution ➡️ Better execution makes strategies more viable ➡️ More viable strategies attract more deposits ➡️ More deposits deepen lending markets ➡️ Deeper lending markets unlock more leverage, looping, and yield routing. Subsequently, TVL growth also becomes the backbone to infrastructure density and not just a vanity metric to brag about on the timeline. Lending especially important b/c a chain can have assets, DEXs, and yield opportunities, but capital efficiency doesn’t really unlock until users can borrow against those assets, recycle liquidity, and move between risk profiles without constantly exiting positions. As Monad TVL continues trending higher, the next phase of expansion is focused around more productive collateral, more efficient borrowing, and more composable markets built around that liquidity. 💾👀

Whether you like $MON or not, a chart like this will at some point explode higher. - launched at a terrible timing - 250m circ mcap - recently surpassed SUI in TVL - recently got added on Aave I'm not sure what's going to kickstart a trend reverse but it’s gonna happen at some point. Monad has been cooking. TVL made a new ATH this week, currently standing at $453M. DeFi integrations have been non-stop, with @aave being the cherry on top. Daily transactions have also climbed up from a ~1.8M baseline in February to a ~3M average since the June 1st. Last week was something else, though. June 30: MetaMask Money Account integration July 2: Aave V3 deployment July 3: Maple Finance deployment July 4: Aave crosses $120M TVL, $70M in deposits + $50M in active loans July 4: Monad flips Sui in TVL, per @DefiLlama There's a reason why Consensys chose Monad for Money Account. Same goes for Aave Governance voting for this. I'm quite sure Monad's best days are ahead. "Monad Season", some would say.
