Discord roles have recently become a mess. @RelayProtocol shut down DC :D @EspressoSys dropped $120 for Caff Creators :D They apparently took the money from people's noses. @gensynai decided not to give anything for roles and stated that the roles themselves are the reward :D @re built the entire marketing strategy around roles but later removed those roles stating they were just cosmetic. There was also an attempt to strike Ethos but the result was a tie. @aztecnetwork already had a crappy role system and, as expected, no rewards were distributed. @raikucom posted a message on January 25 again stating that rewarding roles was not planned. @fluentxyz did not drop on DC roles; instead they offered everyone a discount on token sales, but they failed to sell all the tokens. There are rumors that a similar situation will occur in PrismaX, Rialo, OpenMind and Seismic ... Looks like a decent project

Let's look at its other competitors, which can give us some ideas: Monero - Zcash (Of course these are OG projects and their fundamentals are very strong) Monero $XMR: $6.5B FDV Zcash $ZEC: $4.6B FDV ▶️ Aztec is not a project more focused on community and mining like these; it has a massive $200M fund led by a big VC such as a16z. ▶️ Monero and Zcash (these are their own networks – i.e., L1) use the “old school” method that only hides money transfers; @aztecnetwork provides infrastructure on Ethereum that can make the entire ecosystem (DeFi, DAO, governance) private. ▶️ In short, while with Monero and Zcash you can only send money privately, on Aztec you can perform private DeFi activities on Ethereum such as borrowing, lending, swapping, etc. 🤝 Finally, compared to its rivals and the huge investments it has received, I think there is still room to grow on the FDV side. % ROI of Coinlist sales and public sales has been 📉 $Aztec Market cap: $60m FDV: $210m Total raised: $220m The market is having a hard time pricing these since most tokens have been in huge downtrends and the only ones that somehow keep up is those with revenue & usage. There will be an anomaly at some point where good projects with a future will be heavily mispriced but realistically a tiny % few will do well.
