    Wu said he learned that Neo founder and core developer Erik Zhang accuses Neo founder Da Hongfei of failing to fulfill commitments, not publicly disclosing the relevant financial reports, and calls on Da Hongfei to release a complete and verifiable financial report to the community, detailing all assets and expenditures managed by the Neo Foundation (NF). Erik Zhang also stated that, according to a recent phone agreement between the two parties, Da Hongfei will focus on the development and operation of NeoX and SpoonOS starting January 1, 2026, and will no longer be involved in Neo mainnet matters. In response, Da Hongfei posted that Erik Zhang actually controls the vast majority of Neo's funds and leads consensus node voting, emphasizing that a blockchain project should not be controlled by a single individual. He revealed that for many years he has been urging Erik to transfer NEO/GAS tokens from personal custody to NF's multi‑signature address, but Erik has repeatedly delayed this.
