Getting involved with Aethir ended up wasting a year and a half. Do you all remember @AethirCloud? When the term DePin started appearing, it was a decentralized GPU project that got attention through node sales. I was involved from the time I purchased a node, and the initial airdrop had no issues. I continued to participate in airdrop season 2 and beyond. Decentralized GPU × AI The genre is good, and it supposedly has revenue. I had reasonable expectations. In short, I was massively betrayed. First, season 2. - The $ATH airdrop that was scheduled for distribution in March 2025 → What was actually distributed was eATH eATH is a mysterious token locked until October 2026. The explanation said, "ATH staked with EIGEN will be locked, but it will yield returns." However, that yield was postponed repeatedly, more than three times. It is still locked with no yield, staked into nothingness. Simultaneously, season 3 started. - 8 months of Discord activity and social contributions - It demanded time and effort Just before distribution, a secret move! Tokenomics changed. Airdrop season 3 became "none". The ATH that was supposed to be distributed was used to establish a nonsensical treasury company. I also served as an ambassador. The result after a year and a half of activity was that the only thing left in my hands was locked ATH that yielded nothing and kept dropping in price. Getting involved with projects that don't keep their promises only drains you, and good outcomes are almost impossible. They keep delaying, ask the community to be active, but ignore the community's voice. This is quite dangerous. When the locked token was distributed in season 2, I should have left, but season 3 ran in parallel, and they announced delays gradually to make it hard to walk away. Looking back, they were probably planning to use us up until the end and discard us. The other day, X started showing the country you connect from, and when I checked Aethir it showed South Africa. Where the heck, too rare. I immediately hid it with a VPN, now I'm showing as US without VPN. It's all lies, they don't give the airdrop, and I doubt whether there is any real revenue. A complete misjudgment. It was a good lesson. Projects that claim "community‑centric" come in two types. - Using the community as a broth for promotion and so on
