Moonpot (POTS)

While exploring the DeFi ecosystem for the past few days, @pots_market & @pots_money came to my attention.

At first it seemed like it would be another simple yield protocol.
But after looking a little deeper, I realized that the project is actually trying to connect prediction market and decentralized finance together

It's not just trading
Rather, the approach of building a new structure of market participation.

The interesting aspect of Pots ecosystem is their dual infrastructure model.

On one side is Pots Money
Pots Market on the other hand

One side is working on liquidity and bond mechanics
Another side is building event based prediction infrastructure.

As two layers work together, the entire ecosystem feels interconnected.

Many DeFi protocols run on short term hype.

But the design of Pots seems like they are trying to make a long term participation model.

It means not only yield with token emission
Rather, the thought of creating value circulation through ecosystem activity, auctions and liquidity flow

Another thing I like is transparency focus.

The project narrative is very much "rules over middlemen" type.

Means trying to keep protocol logic smart contract driven so that system behavior is publicly verifiable.

Honestly this mindset is very important for the future of DeFi.

Prediction market side is also very interesting.

Because here uncertainty itself becomes a tradable layer.

Who is thinking what?
Where is market sentiment going?
The probability of any outcome is high

I personally think that only DEX or lending narrative will not dominate in the next cycle.

Prediction infrastructure, information markets and liquidity coordination can be very big sectors.

Because when data + incentives + participation are combined together, a new type of financial ecosystem is created.

Another strong aspect of Pots ecosystem is flexibility.

Not all users are the same.

Some seek stable exposure
Some prefer higher risk market participation
Some just want yield

Overall, pots market ecosystem is still in early stage.

So it is important to do your own research.

However, due to architecture, transparency focus and prediction driven financial model, the project has taken a strong place in my watchlist
