Over the past week of altcoin rebounds, I noticed several interesting points: 1. Mostly they double from the bottom, oscillate for a day or two, and then correct. 2. The majority are single-wave moves, while a few launch into a second leg before tapering off. 3. After the first rally, the faster the pullback without any bounce, the more likely a second leg will emerge. An example from this week: 1. $MERL On the 26th at 12 PM, it started a pump from 0.2 to 0.5, doubling, and kept rising until 3 AM on the 27th, with extremely negative funding, attracting many longs. At 4 AM and 5 AM on the 27th it pulled back to 0.35, a 66% retracement, scaring off a wave of high‑price chasers, then from 6 AM to 9 AM it rose again to 0.53, slightly above the previous high, consolidating for 3 hours. At 1 PM on the 27th a waterfall drop took it from 0.45 to 0.29 within half an hour. The 27th‑28th saw a gradual upward oscillation. The optimal approach is to go long during uptrends, short during downtrends, and exit during sideways moves. 2. $PIEVERSE (new token): from the 23rd to the 25th it pumped from 0.3 to 0.6, oscillated on the 25th‑26th, started a mild pullback on the 27th, and on the 28th a sharp retracement returned it to the starting point. 3. $ARC rose from 0.25 to 0.5 and then corrected smoothly without a bounce, after which a second leg began, pulling back from 0.5 (with a brief spike to 0.67 that triggered a wave of shorts).
