Sometimes I actually feel quite impressed by @KaitoAI, with a peak market cap of around $3B; I have to admire the market conditions at that time. Just like now everyone is desperately swapping on perp DEXs, hoping to catch the next $LIT $ASTER $HYPE. When @opinionlabsxyz launches, everyone will also aggressively forecast the market, hoping to catch the next $OPINION. The bigger question than TVL leaderboard flexing is: who actually has trader trust when volatility hits. @grvt_io sitting #7 in open interest with only ~$88M TVL while @paradex sits around ~$230M tells you efficiency > size. Add Season 2 where only 12% of total points are up for grabs, short runway, and TGE by end of Q1, and distribution gets interesting again will rewards flow to real on-chain traders who show up, or just social grinders chasing leaderboards. If the goal is aligned users, fast point accumulation with low TVL is a strong signal to me #DEX #Perps #Airdrop I’m still trading there because the hybrid model isn’t a brochure line, it’s felt in the flow self-custody with clean execution, orders go through without overthinking, and I don’t get CEX anxiety. Negative maker fees + earn-on-equity flips the calculus for active LPs, while the interface stays out of the way.
