    Algorand Post-Quantum Technology 🧵 Algorand may be one of the most underappreciated technological stories in crypto. While much of the market focuses on short-term narratives, @Algorand has been preparing for one of the most important long-term challenges facing the entire digital economy: Quantum computing. Quantum computers are expected to eventually break the elliptic curve cryptography that secures most blockchains today, including the signature systems used across much of the industry. This is not a theoretical issue.     AlgoKit 4.0 may not sound exciting to the average investor. But for developers, it is a very important milestone. The @AlgoFoundation has released the beta version of AlgoKit Utils for TypeScript and Python, marking the first step toward AlgoKit 4.0. Why does this matter? Because developer tools are infrastructure. The easier it is to build on a blockchain, the more likely developers are to create applications, enterprises are to launch products, and users are to adopt the ecosystem. AlgoKit 4.0 introduces a unified AlgorandClient, improved account management with signer-based security, native HD wallet support, and adoption of ARC-56 as the default application specification. In practical terms, this means developers can build on @Algorand faster, more securely, and with less complexity. The broader significance is strategic. Algorand is not only focusing on tokenization, post-quantum security, and real-world adoption. It is also investing heavily in the developer experience. That is important because strong ecosystems are built by making it easier for others to build. According to the Algorand Foundation roadmap, the full rollout of AlgoKit 4.0 is expected to include composable smart contract libraries, new SDKs, and AI-assisted tooling.
