After the $CELO tokenomics upgrade takes place so buyback + burns start hapenning and the value of Minipay txs + CELO txs gets capture via token value accrual; I fully expect it to go on a stronger run than $POL Both chains are built for payments except CELO has more Daily Active Users, a 10x lower marketcap and much cleaner UX/UI. Polygons biggest let down in my experience is the UX/UI, no native wallet and no native staking on the POL network unless you bridge to ERC20 via Ethereum first.

I loaded up on some $CELO today and yesterday. I was tossing up $POL and $CELO as both are doing well with payments and both have performed horribly price wise. I like buying coins that are not hot, but are fundamentally strong and growing on key metrics like Stablecoins on chain, Daily active users etc. After testing both, the greater ease of staking with CELO and cleaner UX/UI with a native wallet like Valora tipped it towards CELO for me. In addition the tokenomics upgrade coming for CELO could be huge if Minipay + CELO Txs/Fees are fully burned. Polygon was just way too cumbersome with no way to stake using the POL Network, having to bridge to ETH ERC20 POL waiting hours to bridge to then be able to stake and vice/versa to revert to POL Network again.
