    Hard Truths with Bitcoin Cash bitcoin-cash:native @cculianu/ Calin Culianu's argument that Bitcoin was captured: the block size debate was not a technical disagreement that went wrong... it was a successful operation by banking interests to ensure Bitcoin could never function as peer-to-peer electronic cash. The narrative that small blocks are better for decentralization was, in her view, artificial. The institutional money that funded Blockstream came from AXA, Digital Currency Group, and Mastercard, companies with a direct financial interest in Bitcoin not replacing the existing payment system.     Yup! @Vladcostea is spot on here. ETH - and its many levels/layers of shitcoinery - certainly benefited most from the Blocksize War. It derailed/distracted me for the better part of five years until I came back to hard/sound money in BCH instead of chasing ICOs, arbitrage plays, yield-farming, and pump/dump schemes. I have to give ETH its due for pushing smart-contracts and new use-cases forward, however. BCH has all of the above (the hard/sound money qualities of BTC and the utility/defi/degen aspects of ETH), if you want it. Come for the degen-shit if that's what appeals to you, but stay for the fast/cheap/scalable freedom money for the world that can't be fucked with. BCH FTW! 💚👊💪
