GM! Wishing you a beautiful spring, and may you have as many orders on GLOVO as possible since I'll probably be there all summer.😂 I’m now editing the episode I’ll post on Monday, then heading to CryptoExpo; see you there if you can make it. If we look back, two years ago AR was $40 in the spring; now the crypto market’s pulse is zero and there’s a new major conflict between Iran and Israel + the US that doesn’t even let us be calm. I think we’ve gotten used to it and try to focus on our own stuff… good luck with the work!

The market is stagnant due to geopolitical conflicts, and the author recalls AR once reached $40.

We talk about decentralization like it automatically means resilience. But here’s a hard truth: Most DAOs can’t remember why they made their biggest decisions. Not because the chain forgot. Because the context disappeared. @permacastapp https://t.co/HV8ba5dkco

The governance “attack” on Compound Finance in 2024 exposed something deeper than treasury risk. Delegates struggled to reconstruct prior reasoning. Forum threads were fragmented. Historical debates were buried. The chain had the vote. It didn’t have the memory.

Same story with MakerDAO record governance moments, yet recurring paralysis. When institutions can’t easily access their own past logic, every proposal feels like it’s happening in isolation. Blockchains preserve facts. They don’t preserve meaning.

A proposal passes with 62% approval. Okay. But: Why 62%? What risks were debated? What alternatives were rejected? What assumptions were made? That context usually lives on: Discourse. Discord. Google Docs. X threads. In other words rented land.

That’s the mismatch Dr. Corrado highlights in the Permacast piece We built immutable ledgers… and ephemeral reasoning Traditional institutions solved this centuries ago Courts don’t just record verdicts They record reasoning They cite precedent They build constraint over time

Precedent is infrastructure. Web3 governance still runs on vibes and scattered archives. The deeper issue isn’t storage cost. It’s the economic model of memory. Rental-based storage means: If someone stops paying, history fades.

    𝑺𝒂𝒗𝒐𝒚 🎮✌️ Researcher Security_Expert B
     5.64K  @Savoyonx

Endowment-based permanence (like what Arweave introduced) flips the logic: Pay once. Memory becomes default. That changes incentives. Because institutional memory only shows its value years later often when the original builders are gone.

     5.64K  @Savoyonx

If Web3 wants to manage billions responsibly, governance history cannot live inside apps that might pivot, rebrand, or shut down. Canon has to exist below the interface. That’s the mental shift. Not: “Where is this stored?”

    𝑺𝒂𝒗𝒐𝒚 🎮✌️ Researcher Security_Expert B
     5.64K  @Savoyonx

But: “Will this still be retrievable with context 10 years from now?” If we decentralize execution but centralize (or neglect) memory, we rebuild the same fragility we claim to escape. Real decentralization isn’t just about ownership. It’s about remembering.

Web3 governance lacks an effective memory mechanism, causing decision-making context to be lost, creating systemic fragility, and requiring a permanent storage solution.

DePIN emerged as a major crypto narrative in 2024. By 2026, the relevant question is no longer conceptual. It is empirical. The framework for evaluation is observable: 🔹 Active hardware deployed 🔸 Revenue from service delivery 🔹 Recurring enterprise demand 🔸 Reliance on token emissions

$AR is tricky. On the one hand, it looks clearly bearish. At lows, hasn't filled the 10/10 wick yet, ... But on the other hand, structurally, it still makes sense. The five waves up an the correction can be counted perfectly. The only issue that arises is that the target for Wave-C🔴 is negative. So for now, I remain bearish, but give it the benefit of the doubt, if it can reclaim the 88,7. #Arweave

I’ve been thinking about what “permanent” really means online lately. Most of what we post today is built on sand. Platforms change. Links break. Context disappears. That’s why what @permacastapp is building feels different to me. It’s not just “store data forever on Arweave.” https://t.co/CVJN7Sjhtm

It’s more like: → What if apps could talk to each other years later? → What if content didn’t lose meaning when trends move on? → What if developers didn’t have to rebuild from scratch every cycle? In real life, we keep records because memory matters.

Receipts. Photos. Certificates. History. On-chain and on the internet, we mostly ignore that. Permacast’s idea of unified data + verifiable content + composable apps is basically saying: “Let’s stop building throwaway software.” If this works, it changes how we think about:

This is a bold step for AI infrastructure pretty sure Liquid DeAI isn’t just staking it turns long term node commitments into active economic participation without breaking alignment node value no longer sits idle it flows into liquidity powering the AI economy while keeping incentives intact Node NFT holders gain real utility deeper liquidity and more ways to engage with the ecosystem @0G_labs + ZooFinance are showing what next gen AI economics looks like freer more efficient and practical The same principle applies to Web3 knowledge @permacastapp data persistence isn’t the same as knowledge persistence forgetting isn’t lost bytes it’s lost context reasoning and accessibility persistence requires copying curation interpretation and authority systems like Arweave show that redundancy distributed discoverability and aligned incentives can make access trustless Whether it’s AI or Web3 memory the challenge isn’t storing value it’s making it meaningful and usable.
