One user claimed that I only praise Pi Core Team and never criticize them. But after I showed years of evidence, that person deleted their post.
The truth is that lies cannot cover up the facts. And clickbait posts with little insight cannot compete with years of genuine efforts to educate people about Pi.
Even today, I continue to post on X about areas where Pi Core Team needs to improve, things that need faster fixes, and projects or features that seem to be struggling and need attention before they fail.
If I've written this many critical posts in such a short period of time, can you imagine how much criticism and feedback I've provided over the last five years on YouTube?
While many people were talking about GCV, claiming Pi's value was fixed by code, or endlessly speculating about future partnerships, I was quietly reporting issues with Fireside, giving feedback to moderators and Core Team members, collecting data on problematic transactions during the Enclosed Mainnet period, and repeatedly discussing the communication problems between Pi Core Team and the community.
Wasn't that me?
And now, many of the same people who promoted GCV and exaggerated Pi for years are disappointed because Open Network arrived and the price didn't match their expectations. So they blame everything on Pi Core Team.
When I explain that the situation is more complex than that, the new narrative suddenly becomes: "You never criticized Pi Core Team."
Doesn't it feel like something has changed?
The people who spent years promoting unrealistic expectations are now trying to rewrite history, while those of us who have consistently provided both support and criticism are being accused of blind loyalty.
That doesn't seem very honest to me.
