⌞Let me tell a true story of mine⌝
In 2024 Wormhole launched an airdrop. I had an SUI wallet, and a casual cross‑chain transaction gave me 1,071 tokens. On the listing day I could have sold them for $1,820, but at that time the Google‑registered account could not be exported, so I couldn’t claim them and just ignored it.
Two years later, I logged into the Slush wallet and discovered the built‑in Swap could sell that airdrop. I half‑heartedly sold it and got back $15.97, which made me reflect.
✅ If you don’t sell the altcoin on the TGE day, two years later it could have dropped 114×.
When Wormhole opened at $1.7 I didn’t sell; my airdrop fell to $0.17, a tenfold loss—pretty ironic. If I hadn’t cut my losses and kept hoping, it could have sunk another 11× and I’d be completely wiped out.
I don’t blame Wormhole; I’m grateful it gave me valuable experience and the seed capital for my first speculative gains.
Wealth isn’t created out of thin air; it only moves.
In this cycle, retail investors have truly been wiped out.
Without newcomers, there is no rebirth.
Waiting for the wind.
