Venezuela has the largest reserves in the world and their cost of extraction is in 20-30s USD.
What would happen if they had been allowed to produce?
Well an entire industry (shale USD) would not exist.
However now $Oil in ground transportation has very agressive competition from EVs whose cost per mile in fuel is 5X-10X cheaper and 2-3X cheaper in maintenance per mile.
So?
$OIL KAPUT in ground transportation.
