I'm on the side that doesn't hold gold, so a price drop makes me happy, a price rise makes me sad. When gold drops, coin might get pushed out.

But nothing lasts forever, extreme assets will reverse at some point, gold will also have to drop eventually, and now I see global economic experts shilling gold a bit too much.
