Gold, silver, platinum, copper all hitting record highs together is unusual🧵 Whenever precious metals rally with industrial metals, people say it's a recession signal. Historically, it often is but this time there's a massive structural driver in Central banks, which have bought 25%+ of all gold demand in 2025. They're shifting reserves away from US Treasuries into gold permanently. For the first time in decades, central banks hold more gold than US Treasuries (That's de-dollarization) Silver and copper's rally is because of pure industrial demand in AI data centers, EVs, solar panels, mine disruptions, tariff stockpiling. ➠ What's happening onchain? Tokenized commodities mcap just hit $3.93B. That's 278% growth in one year (we were at $1.04B last December) ➣ XAUT (Tether Gold): $1.75B mcap ➣ PAXG (Paxos Gold): $1.62B mcap Both up 10%+ in the last 30 days tracking gold's rally.
