Megaeth post-TGE so far: - $MEGA is down more than 50% from launch - USDm supply is down around 50% from ATH - Less than 10k daily active addresses, so actual user activity is likely even lower To sustain USDm TVL on Aave, they are currently paying around 550k–600k MEGA per day in incentives, while 260M USDm is generating only ~$20k in revenue So they are effectively spending nearly 3x more than what the system is earning The ecosystem is still very new, but rn it feels like they are heavily incentivizing USDm supply without enough real demand from the ecosystem to support that level of liquidity (the team likely has a longer-term thesis behind this strategy, but so far the results dont seem convincing) Another issue is that the MEGA token itself is the core variable behind Flux, Terminal, and USDm growth, with the token performing poorly, activity across the ecosystem has also started slowing down & we also shouldn’t ignore that less than 4% of total supply was distributed to the community at TGE, de

The one thing I never realised is why people were bullish about coins fixing the wrong things Like Monad and Mega were the most hyped launches but like what's the problem you're solving? Higher TPS and Lower block time settled on ETH? Yet another L1? Can someone work on solving the right problems? What's event the point and why are VCs splurging money on this shit lol
