Hey everyone mates! I'm looking online at how others are counting their successes in 2025 in terms of earnings. I decided to count my cookies. This year, there's not much to be proud of: ------------------------------- Kaito campaigns: OG - $1200 Story - $1600 Berachain - $600 Initia - $1100 - I couldn't get the role here, but I was eligible for Kaito ------------------------------- Onchain clicking: Linea - $3600 ------------------------------- Discord roles + content, ambassador: Hyperlane - $3800 Ritual - still building Linera - still building MegaETH - still building (here I didn't get a role but the opportunity to invest in ICO, Fluffle NFT) ------------------------------- Paid ambassador programs: Ocean - $4800 1inch - $2500 ------------------------------- The total comes to $19,200, which is not bad. But nothing special happened in 2025. Unlike in 2024, for example, when XION alone awarded ~$30+k. I am glad that I achieved results in Ritual, MegaETH, and Linera. I consider them to be good and promising projects, but they take forever to build. I have been participating in all three for almost a year now. These things happen, you never know in advance. Are you satisfied with your results in 2025?

2025 is about to close, looking back on the Airdrop journey since 2024, I feel more gratitude than regret. Starting with the mindset “do it whenever I’m free”, I entered the market like a blank sheet. The first deal earned $100 from Testnet – I remember it took about 10 minutes from Vader’s video. Even though I’m not full‑time, and I use most of the profit to cover living expenses rather than reinvest, Airdrop has given me many valuable lessons. Now the era of “wallet spam” is fading, giving way to Yap, Discord roles and real contributions to the community. The game is harder, but also more purified. Going forward I will focus on advancing my primary job expertise, but my passion for Tech & Crypto remains. I will continue to share my tech perspective here. My biggest crypto disappointments of 2025 ❌ 🔸Berachain 🔸Momentum 🔸CreatorBid 🔸Ethos Network 🔸Hype EVM Projects I was genuinely bullish on, used, farmed, and followed closely. Throughout 2025, there were several protocols and ecosystems I truly believed could perform extremely well. As the year went on, it became clear they didn’t meet the expectations I had. Here’s why 👇 1️⃣ Berachain Liquidity was meant to be the core engine of the entire ecosystem. - Big VCs. - Huge promises. - APRs and yields were always there - But the token chart tells the real story - NFTs massively underperformed - Ego battles between founders and protocols - Internal disputes and misalignment Those frictions siphoned value and attention away from the ecosystem. In hindsight, selling before mainnet would’ve been the best move. 2️⃣ Sui ecosystem, Momentum After the Cetus hack, Momentum was supposed to be the successor. - Massive expectations - Pre-sale heavily oversubscribed - Post-launch dilution killed attention - Poor communication - Incentives still missing - V3,3 model not implemented What started as one of the most hyped protocols slowly faded out of focus. 3️⃣ CreatorBid Supposed to replace Virtuals, but it never really took off. - Strong ideas and constant experimentation - New mechanics to support the ecosystem - Limited real impact on the tokens Good ideas. Bad timing. A narrative that didn’t help. 4️⃣ Ethos Network Aiming to become a trust & credibility layer for crypto and Twitter. - Trust score based on vouches - Feels pay-to-win - Very limited real utility - Forces daily claims What was meant to be an authority signal is now stuck in limbo. Hype has clearly faded, metrics don’t lie. 5️⃣ Hype EVM The chain behind the best token of 2025. I had huge expectations for the protocols launching on it. Reality? - Every single launch has been a price-action disaster - Tokens down since day one - Not a single winner so far A clear reminder that even if the core product (Hyperliquid) is elite, it doesn’t mean everything built around it will succeed. Being bullish doesn’t mean being right. That’s part of the game.

The hodl culture is dead Per Memento Research, out of about 115 top Tokens that launched this Year, only 18 are Net Positive. 97 are Down badly with average loss of -83% on each.
