    L2s are so cooked right now so our evaluation process too we are so much into prediction market gambling and other stuff that we not even looking at innovation or tech anymore, we just talk about it till TGE - TPS - Funding - TVL are all foreign concepts now in this space i hope this changes with time, but choose to stay with space and book profits no matter how good tech is

    CertiK co‑founder and CEO Ronghui Gu said that AI is intensifying the imbalance in DeFi offense‑defense, making it easier for attackers to discover vulnerabilities and replicate attack vectors. He noted that in April 2026 there were only three days without a hacking incident, and DeFi protocols suffered losses exceeding $690 million in a single month; excluding the Bybit incident, this was the highest‑loss month since March 2022. Gu stated that as smart‑contract audit standards improve, attackers are shifting more towards supply‑chain, operational security, and infrastructure‑level attacks, and mentioned that incidents such as Drift Protocol and Kelp DAO involved related issues.
