    some thoughts on $lighter: overall i think current fair value is ~$2.5-3b so accounting for market conditions & safety margin, would only feel comfortable to trade it sub-$2b, or a longer term investment ~$1b. But feel ok to sit it out if it doesn't reach there / takes longer to reach. > sotc points bid/ask at $77/$85 indicating $3-3.5b (noting without illiquidity discount) done over a period where HYPE has been up bigly. > OI is ~20% of HL and likely decreases post-TGE. many market participants eyeball it this way so with HYPE at ~$23b, think lighter should be ~10-15% of that at $2.5-3.5b. HYPE's current pa isn't helping lighter at all. > Lighter revenues are untransparent and tokenomics unconfirmed, but a % of rev will likely be used for buybacks. With the last investor round at ~$1.5, I was hoping to bid sub-$2, factoring in day-one airdrop sell pressure and a much weaker market backdrop. Their stats look good – $1.49B TVL, $233B in 30d perps volume, $8.76M in 30d revenue (~$107M annualized) – alongside 0% fees, ZK-based verification on Ethereum, and a team backed by Peter Thiel, a16z, and Lightspeed. Still, activity looks largely incentive-driven, with 7d vol/OI ~19.5. The real test is whether volume holds in the weeks ahead once incentives fade.
