How should you look for alts in this market with just observing the trend -> Given the 1D charts are way off any trend levels for most of the alts, we scale down to 4h. So the first chart is 4h timeframe with my fast trend (EMA 21 & 50) PA below both EMAs is a clear bearish sign, and in the market we are in, knifecatching is off the table. You have two setups that occur - short on trend re-tests (favourable and goes with the trend) - long based on trend reclaims Normally, I take max 2, sometimes 3 shorts on trend re-tests. I'm still favouring the long side where my levels are defined more clearly. After you get a series of rejections, and they become more frequent, you can start focusing on the flip.
